  • Via Blogger Pyra-ads feature, I discovered Little Sanity, a blog that purpoits to “impose a little sanity onto culture, the arts, politics, and items of interest.” So far, I have enjoyed what have read on it.
  • Vagrantcafe: To pray without ceasing — Contemplation and renewal at the Abbey of Gethsemani – an excellent introduction to contemplative prayer accompanied by a diary of the author’s experience at a retreat at the Abbey of Gethsemani. (This is the Trappist monestary where Thomas Merton was a brother.) Also, while on the subject of the abbey, take a look at www.monks.org which is a website created by the Abbey.
  • www.openoffice.org is an interresting collaborative project that has the mission of creating “as a community, the leading international office suite that will run on all major platforms and provide access to all functionality and data through open-component based APIs and an XML-based file format.” I am eager to try out the software package. If it works, this sounds like a great way to strike a blow against the Microsoft monopoly. If you want to give it a try, go to http://www.openoffice.org/… (Scroll down to the section that talks about usable software.)
