- Attorney General John Ashcroft hailed the decision by the panel of three judges, two of whom were appointed by President Ronald Reagan and one by President Bill Clinton.
The decision is “an important victory for the president’s ability to protect the American people in times of war,” Ashcroft said in a statement.
No Mr. Ashcroft. This is a victory for fascism, in your belief that US citizens are best off when denied the rights due to them under the US Bill of Rights. Your refusal to protect the Constitution that you were sworn to protect (first as a US Senator and now as AG) to me means you should be impeached. I do not hate you but I do think it is time that you and your boss be fired.
