- MSNBC: Convenient carrot charms consumers Peeled and ready-to-eat transforms an unheralded vegetable — At their peak in the late ’90s, per-capita U.S. carrot consumption had more than doubled from a decade before. “It’s one of the bigger success stories in produce,” says the International Fresh-Cut Produce Association.
- MSNBC: Armstrong crashes, then crushes rivals 4-time Tour champion increases lead over key foe Ullrich in 15th stage — This is an incredible story. Lance Armstrong is undoubtably the greatest bicyclist of history. I’m normally a big fan of the French (since they were against the war I do my best to buy French products to counteract the stupid boycotts against them) but in this case I would love to see Armstrong whip all of those Frenchmen. (Of course I am biased since Armstrong’s from Austin.)
