MSNBC: Brooks, Yearwood tie the knot in Oklahoma — Couple call marriage ‘perfect Christmas gift to each other’

Good for them I guess. While I’m not a big fan of what Garth did to country music (turned it into commercial crap that doesn’t have any heart or roots… basically soft rock with twang and steel guitars), I do dig the fact that he didn’t leave Oklahoma behind when he got famous.

Also on a very sidenote, he used to be a neighbor of mine, as he lived across the street from my family in Yukon (where we lived when was between 2-5 years old) I was too young to remember him, but he was a high school kid at the time.
