Boy am I happy to see this. I used to listen to them when I lived in San Marcos (a college town between Austin and San Antonio — New Braunfels is about 15 minutes or so south of San Marcos) and for awhile listened to them when I moved to Oklahoma but after awhile their live feed quit working. But now they are back and sure is nice to hear some good Americana/Texas/Real Country music. I highly recommend giving them a listen. That station introduced me to so much good music (particularly Robert Earle Keene)
hey just dropping a line to say thanks for visiting my blog.
On a side note, I used to attend a
Mennonite church in my childhood (liberal one, mind you). Anabaptists not
ANYTHING like evangelicism, if you ask me…
PS- I recently read a good OK history book that had an entire chapter on
Mennonites in Oklahoma and what they went through during war time, etc. It
was a fascinating read to say the least.
Again, nice to see you, I’ll have to keep peeking at this nifty Okie blog 😉
