Well as regular readers of this blog may have noticed, I kinda fell off the wagon when it comes to keeping track of my bicycle milage a few months back (I think about 2 weeks before I took the bar exam). Since then I have not been riding nearly as much as I did when i was in school and preparing for the bar, but still have been riding some.

So anyway in my attempt to motivate myself to ride more, I’m going to do a quick catch-up post on my bicycling reporting and then go forward with keeping track of milage (mostly for my own benefit and vanity).

As of January 30th, my milage totals were:

Total 2006 miles: 159.1
Total mileage per bike: 715.3 -New Schwinn Hybrid; 2.8 (plus lots unrecorded) -Old Schwinn MTB; 8.0-Graziella Folding Bicycle

Since then, here are the rides that I took (that I can recall). I know I rode more than this, but I would rather be conservative with these estimates…

Two rides to a doctor up at NW 63rd & May (30 miles)
One ride to/from Bricktown IHOP (2 miles)
starting in March – riding to/from a friend’s church for Wednesday night serviceds at least 4x, (40 miles)
One round-trip downtown (2 miles)
One ride to/from another friend’s church on the night from hell when it was freezing cold and rainging and I ended up getting a ride from a friend part of the way home to avoid hypothermia and absolute misery (13 miles)
the big Lake Thunderbird Trip (38 miles)
One ride from SW 89th & Penn to office in Newcastle (10.8 miles – this trip also had extra miles by bus)
One ride from office to SW 89th & Penn, then by bus to The Village, then to a friend’s church and then back home (21 miles by bike)
One ride by bus to SW 74th & may, then by bike to SW 74th & Penn and then to office in Newcastle (12.7 by bike )
One ride to Backdoor Cafe and Back for Critical Mass ride that no one showed up for(6)

Rough total from February-April, 2006 – 175.5 miles, which brings me to:

Total 2006 miles as of April 30, 2006: 334.6
Total mileage per bike: 890.8 -New Schwinn Hybrid; 2.8 (plus lots unrecorded) -Old Schwinn MTB; 8.0-Graziella Folding Bicycle
