Waynesvilledailyguide.com: Mom’s reward leads to FLW deserter’s apprehension (also see the same story from the Rolla Daily News)

Such a horrible story. I can imagine that the Army told the family LIES about how their kid would end up in Ft. Leavenworth for 10 years if he wasn’t caught soon. Now, thanks to those lies and the family giving in to those lies, the kid will either be stuck in the Army longer or he might end up doing some jail time. I hope and pray it doesn’t go that way, but it certainly very well might.

The family should have either hired a lawyer or contacted the GI Rights Hotline for help, but instead they believed the Army LIARS and now their kid is screwed. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be so hateful and angry, but I’m pretty angry right now. The worst thing to me is to see how the Army is turning parents against their own kids. That is about evil as it gets.
