Voters add gay marriage ban to constitution — Texas set to become the 19th state to place such a limit in its constitution

The one bit of good news in this is that Travis County (my home for about 4 years when I lived in Austin) voted overwhelming AGAINST the gay marriage ban (40.05% yes, 59.95% no). (according to the Travis County Elections Division website as of 2:57 a.m.)

The bad news is that it may be the only county that voted against the proposal.
